Taif Escape

Day 1 — Arrival & Slow Start

Arrival in Taif and airport pick-up ( early/mid afternoon).
We’ll gather as a group and head to the hotel for check-in and some time to settle in.
On the evening, we’ll head out for a relaxed local dinner, our first taste of Taif’s mountain charm and warm hospitality.
Overnight in Taif.

Day 2 —Roses, Heritage & Mountain Views

We start the day with a traditional farm breakfast, tasting local flavours and the famous mallah bread in a peaceful rural setting.
Rose farm & rose factory visit : walk through blooming rose fields and learn about the delicate distillation process used to create Taif’s prized rose water and oils. The scent in the air alone makes this unforgettable.
Next, we dive into Taif’s history with a visit to Al Shareef Museum, home to thousands of artefacts that tell the story of the region’s heritage and traditions.
Later in the afternoon: We will ride Al Hada cable car, one of the longest in the Middle East, gliding above dramatic mountain landscapes and ancient caravan routes.
We end the day wandering through Albalad historical market, browsing honey, herbs, handicrafts and local products, before enjoying a cozy dinner in the old town.
Overnight in Taif

Day 3 – Mountains, Hike & Farewell

After breakfast, we head into the cooler highlands for an Al Shafa mountains visit, known for juniper forests, fresh air and panoramic viewpoints. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and playful mountain monkeys that might appear along the way.
We then set off on a 5 km easy/moderate hike, a scenic walk through mountain trails with sweeping views — nothing technical, just a beautiful way to soak in Taif’s nature and end the trip actively.
Lunch will be enjoyed at one of Taif’s historic local restaurants before returning for check-out.
