Day 1 :
Mabamba Swamp

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Hotel Horizon Entebbe for a welcome briefing.
In the afternoon, a canoe outing through the papyrus channels of Mabamba Swamp in search of the legendary Shoebill Stork and other wetland birds.

Day 6 :
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The trip’s centerpiece: mountain gorilla trekking through Bwindi’s misty forest, culminating in an hour with a habituated gorilla family.
In the evening, the Batwa Cultural Experience — traditional dance, storytelling, forest walks and craft demonstrations with Batwa elders.

Day 7 :
Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savanna park.
Afternoon walking safari with an armed ranger guide — zebras, elands, impalas and warthogs on foot — followed by a sunset game drive.
